Arts on Wheels design and deliver art and creative writing activities to older people in residential care homes, adults in social care settings or those experiencing social isolation. The packs and booklets are designed with hand picked activities that are age appropriate and engaging for varying abilities. Arts on Wheels has specialism in creating therapeutic activities for older people that can stimulate communication, imagination and self expression. The booklets and packs can be either facilitated in group sessions or can be completed individually.

Reminiscence collage packs for older people
Receive a selection of collage papers and printed images ideal for individual or group collaging. Images for collaging include war time living, shops, foods, fashions, films and music from the 1940s to 1970s.
This pack contains enough resources for 4 participants and can be facilitated in a 1;1 activity or within a larger group. The pack also contains a quiz as an additional conversation starter.

Doodle and Drawing Activity Booklet no 1
The contents of this pack include a range of simple yet beautiful doodle activities that can aid relaxation and encourage mindful focus. There is also step by step drawing activities in which participants can develop their skills in sketching. Explore Zentangles pattern making and colourful mandalas. The booklet also contains ideas for engaging
interactive drawing games for groups .

Creative Writing Activity Booklet
Each 8 page booklet contains a inspiring selection of warm up activities which lead on to an exploration of poetry, prose and descriptive writing. All activities are based around nature and seasonal celebrations and can lead to further reminiscence activities and discussions. There is a new booklet relating to the seasons available on quarterly basis. Participants are encouraged to post back or email their writing for sharing on the Arts on Wheels website.
